Our lighting control programmers are abler to program buttons on the lighting in-wall keypad to control several lighting circuits and individually dim those circuits to set points, with the press of one button. This is called creating a lighting ‘scene’. For example, in your home cinema room, we can program the spotlights to fully dim, uplights to 20% brightness and the LED light tape in the coffered ceiling to 40% to provide non-intrusive ambient lighting, all from the press of one button. You’re now ready to watch your movie.

The aforementioned capability to program pre-set lighting scenes means that you only need to use the amount of light, and ultimately energy, required for a particular task

Having to check all lights in your office, apartment or house before you leave is a common ritual. Imagine instead being able to hit an ‘all off’ button at the front door. Likewise, entering the home on a cold and dark winters evening and being able to hit the ‘all on’ button for lighting gives a nice sense of security.

The control of several lighting circuits can be done from a single gang lighting control keypad. The same control by conventional lighting would require a bank of several rotary dimmers, so lighting control means less wall clutter for a cleaner aesthetic. There are also several different plate finishes for keypads, to fit in with the rest of the interior design.
