Our video distribution systems distribute video sources (think Sky Q, Virgin TV, foreign satellite TV, Apple TV 4K etc.) stored in a centralised location, to all TVs throughout the home. This is achieved by using a video matrix that can send video signals, including 4K, over much longer distances than a standard HDMI cable by using Category data cable (Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7A) or fibre cable, and converting it at the TV or screen end back to HDMI for a simple connection.
A video distribution system comes into it’s own for properties where there are a lot of TVs or screens. Sky Q, for example, only allows you to have a maximum of five boxes in a home (one main box and four mini receivers), and even then, you can only watch three live programmes on different TVs at any one time with the Sky 2Tb main box in the system.
Diamond AV will advise you on the best way to distribute video in your home and even help advise on what video sources are best suited to your individual viewing habits.
